Riddle-Irwin House is Hilltop Seattle Sweetness

Seattle might not be on a lot of people’s relocation shortlists due to its frequently gloomy weather, but if you can look past the often (, contrary to popular belief) gray skies, you’ll find the Emerald City has a diverse selection of handsome homes in a variety of sizes, styles and ages. And one that’s at the far reaches of both the historic and value spectra is up for sale in Seattle’s prestigious-and-pretty Queen Anne neighborhood.

The Riddle-Irwin House (which wears the surnames of its first two owners) was constructed in 1900, and features six bedrooms and five bathrooms within  6,460 square feet of living space. It also boasts a wine cellar, home theater, built-in two-car garage and a guest suite/nanny quarters. But if you ask us, all those perks pale in comparison to the breathtaking panoramic views of the Downtown Seattle skyline, the Space Needle and Puget Sound. Whether or not those stunning vistas will help inspire someone to surrender the $7.8 million the sellers and their representatives at Windermere Real Estate are asking for is debateable…
