One Thousand Museum Apartment is a Mansion in the Sky

Few areas of the country are as hip, happening and vibrant as Downtown Miami. And in case the plethora of world class restaurants, clubs and shops aren’t attractive enough, the beautiful blue water of Biscayne Bay is an easy walk (or Metromover ride) away. And now there’s a new apartment tower – called One Thousand Museum – that puts you right smack in the middle of the action.

One of the last designs of trailblazing architect , One Thousand Museum is named for its location right across the street from Museum Park, a.k.a. the home of the Pérez Art Museum Miami and formerly known as Bicentennial Park, which formed part of a temporary racetrack that hosted IMSA sports cars from 1986 to ‘94 and Indy cars in 1995. (American Airlines Arena is just one block farther south on Biscayne Boulevard.) The particular apartment up for sale occupies the entire 53rd floor of the 62-story edifice, encompassing 10,000 square feet with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, while residents will also have access to the communal pools, gardens, health spa, theater, and helipad. Expect this slice of high-rise heaven to be completed sometime next year, with the full-floor suite in question commanding a sizable $20.485 million asking price.
