MFK Autosport Powercar Audi RS6 – Old School Audi Super Wagon Gets Retrofitted
This is our first introduction to German tuner MFK Autosport. From what we can tell they have a yen for old school Audi wagons. Their latest project involves the previous generation C5 Audi RS6, which was produced from 2002 to 2004, and featured Quattro GmbH’s powerful 4.2-liter twin-turbocharged V8 good for 444 hp. The MFK Autosport Powercar Audi RS6, gets a host of aerodynamic and engine upgrades, including a remapped ECU which boosts the horsepower to 520 hp.
A set of 20-inch Schmidt Revolution CC ‘Satin Black’ wheels wrapped in Dunlop tires measuring 285/25-20 give the car proper grip and a much wider track. Some larger air intakes and a sport exhaust system featuring a Y-branch pipe and 100 cells rounds out the offering. Unfortunately, the only price that is listed is for the sport exhaust at €5,999. The MFK Autsport Powercar Audi RS6 is a strange offering with limited information. There is no suspension system upgrade or specs on the new performance figures. We always like seeing what tuners can do to the older supercars on the road but this effort feels like it falls a little short.
